Korean Beauty Products: Tried and Tested Favorites

If you’ve recently seen my Instagram, you might have noticed I’m trying out new Korean products. Not only that, but I’m getting wedding ready, meaning I’m also trying to be healthier in general.  If you know me well you know I like Korean things but hadn’t really tried many of their products. I know surprised, right!?

So I got my hands on what I could here in Paris, France and tried things out for myself.

If you don’t know much about Korean beauty here’s the low down…
  1. Korean products are super popular at the moment, and often you can find them in the “Asian sections” by your favorite beauty products, or featured at stores like Sephora.
  2. Koreans popularized the bb cream and had used them over 30 years before they became a thing worldwide.
  3. Korean Beauty is also called K-Beauty

So what’s so special about these products?

Well first off, many of them are known to be almost magical, and the packaging is just so adorable as well. Even here in France – a country known for its amazing skin care products – people are trying out these products because they have such a word-of-mouth reputation.

Originally I tried out a product sample that worked so well I not only bought it, but then thought to myself “why not”, and then quickly expanded to masks, creams, and bb creams I had heard of and did a bit of research on. And let me tell you I love every single product! My skin is softer, looks more natural, and in general, the smell of each product are the cherry on top.

These products are great, and I made sure to find them online where anyone (no-matter the country) can buy. It’s rare but some of my links are affiliate links, and as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

  1. Have you tried any Dr. Jart+ products? It’s definitely my K-beauty brand. They’re ceramidin tinted day cream is amazing. Thanks for sharing some of your Korean beauty picks too!

    1. Just two days ago I tried the Pink Dermaclear Trans Foam Mask. I hadn’t tried it before making this post but it feels amazing. Recommend! Really hoping to try more Dr. Jart+ products in the future, and will definitely look at the day cream! Thank you, Tiffany!

    1. I have yet to use a sheet mask, but I can say this mask is great. I use it off and on during the week, and I’ve given it to people I know to use on thier oily skin and it works just as well (I’d just say use it once a week if you have oily skin so that your PH balance doesn’t get out of wack).
